Course Description:

The regulatory climate for banks is changing at a rapid pace. The proposed Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive is expected to require all large or listed companies to report on sustainability metrics. In addition, the Capital Requirements Directive V now requires large and listed banks to disclose their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks. These reporting requirements, applicable from 2022, include detailed reporting obligations on climate-related and environmental risks.

But how prepared is your bank in meeting these regulatory expectations? What challenges is your bank facing right now in light of a rapidly evolving regulatory climate and the ensuing obligations in terms of data collection? How can your bank meet the MFSA’s expectations in terms of its risk management framework?

KPMG Malta can provide training to help you meet your ESG-related obligations. Our training portfolio is based on European Banking requirements, including the EU Regulatory Framework, and industry-specific regulations.
