“It is very important to understand that emotional intelligence is not the opposite of intelligence, it is not the triumph of heart over head – it is the unique intersection of both”, David Caruso.
This course will provide learners with an understanding of what emotional intelligence is and enable them to assess where they are on the emotional intelligence continuum. Most importantly, this training will give them the tools needed to develop and strengthen their emotional intelligence. This will, in turn, have a positive impact on their work relationships and on how they manage their team.
Through various hands-on exercises, they will have the chance to explore and practice a number of techniques to enhance their self-awareness of what they are feeling and their awareness of other people’s emotions. Other exercises will focus on identifying what triggers them and how to effectively manage their emotions in such situations. We will also explore how to communicate and connect with others in a more effective manner. The ultimate goal of this training is for the learners to acquire strategies to develop and maintain better professional relationships.
Would you like to better understand and manage your own emotions and of those around you to succesfully navigate through an ever-changing world? We’ll save you a spot!
At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
- Identify the four dimensions of emotional intelligence and how the dimensions are related to each other
