Course Description: 

This session considers the risks and rewards of attracting and selecting the right talent in an organisation while arguing that the time and effort invested in the HR strategy upfront will pay dividends throughout an employee’s tenure.

Target Audience:

The session is aimed at those with strategic oversight of the HR agenda.

By the end of the session participants will have a broad understanding of the “war for talent” and will have an appreciation of the need to invest in a robust recruitment strategy.

Scott Quayle

Associate Director

Scott has almost 20 years of experience in “Big 4” accountancy firms, the last 16 with the KPMG Islands Group, being based in Bermuda and later the Channel Islands. Scott began his career as an accountant. After demonstrating a passion for developing people, soon moved from audit into the People, Performance & Culture function at KPMG in Bermuda. Scott has since served as Head of L&D and later Head of People for the KPMG Islands Group. He has been responsible for the rollout of a number of Global People initiatives in the areas of L&D, performance development, talent attraction and selection, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, and technology. Scott specialises in talent development. Before joining KPMG in Malta he spent two years on secondment to KPMG Europe, Middle East and Africa, coaching at leadership development centres and running development programmes for high potential emerging leaders in the Talent and Leadership Development team.
